The deliverable
One document. Every claim traced to evidence.
The ProofPack is what you bring to the approval decision: a reconciled summary, a finding-by-finding trail, and a named reviewer standing behind it.
What it contains
- Decision summary
- Submitted, supported, needs-clarification, potential-bleed and recommended-hold amounts, reconciled to the package total.
- Finding-by-finding trail
- Each finding states the amount at issue, a plain-English rationale, and the exact document, page and passage it rests on.
- Calculation basis
- The arithmetic behind every amount, shown as reproducible steps rather than a single unexplained figure.
- Reviewer sign-off
- The name, role and date of the qualified reviewer who validated each material finding.
- Stated limitations
- Anywhere the review could not reach a conclusion, the ProofPack says so directly rather than implying certainty it does not have.
- Confidentiality watermark
- Every copy is tied to the recipient and the engagement it was produced for.
What it is not
The ProofPack is decision support. It is not legal advice, not a formal contractual certification, and not a substitute for your appointed QS, contract administrator or solicitor. Where a finding requires clarification, it says so — it does not overreach into a conclusion the evidence does not support.
